I will continue to ride the Marlins on the run line in this series. Alcantara is on the mound for the Marlins and I look for him to shut down this A's offense that simply struggles to score runs. This is one of the most inept offenses I've ever seen at any level. They have scored 2 or fewer runs in 13 of their last 15 games and in those 13 games they have scored a grand total of 18 runs. Wow. They have scored 1 run total in the first two games of this series and they get to face Alcantara who is looking for a game to find his form -- he's found that game.

Blackburn is on the bump for the A's and I can see him keeping them in it early but he has to be almost perfect to have a chance of winning this game. The A's bullpen is atrocious and this game is in Miami, of course. What are the chances some of the A's were on South Beach last night? 

I look for the Marlins to win easily once again.
