Detroit Lions (8-2) vs Green Bay Packers (4-6)

The Lions have owned the Packers in recent memory as they’re 4-0 both SU and ATS L4 and I see no reason why that won’t continue today. The Packers took advantage of the worse pass defense in the league getting an outright home dog win, but now they face a stout defense and with Jordan Love being suspect against zone coverage, look for him to have a tough time moving the ball downfield. Despite some slippage against the run, Detroit’s rush defense is still strong and top-10 overall, so I see them shutting down Green Bay on the ground as A.J. Dillon has been a disappointment as the primary running back. On the other side of the ball, the Lions should shred the Packers on the ground as they’re among the best rushing teams in the NFL facing one of the worst rushing defenses in the league. I don’t expect Jared Goff to have another clunker like he did against the Bears, so don’t worry about him throwing picks in this one as he should shore up those mistakes from last Sunday. This should be a double-digit win from the better team as they’ve been cash cows over the majority of the last two seasons and should continue to at home. Lay the points.
