Stony Brook Seawolves (3-4) vs Hofstra Pride (5-4)

My math model only favors Hofstra by 2.21 points in this game and the Pride are just 3-9 ATS in their last twelve games versus teams with a losing record. Stony Brook possesses one of the deepest and most talented backcourts in the America East Conference. Head coach Geno Ford hit the transfer portal hard during the offseason and brought in proven commodities like Elijah Olaniyi, a graduate transfer from Miami who is fourth on the team in scoring (9.0 ppg). Fairleigh Dickinson graduate transfer Jahlil Jenkins is second on the team in scoring (12.2 ppg), while St. Bonaventure junior transfer Anthony Roberts is averaging a team-high 15.0 points per game. Those additions to a roster that already welcomed back four starters give Ford the opportunity to play faster and get out in transition more. Stony Brook's lack of height won't be an issue in tonight's game as Hofstra's height and length is comparable. Grab the points with the live home underdog and invest with confidence.
