My math model favors Harvard in this in-state affair and the Crimson are 35-16-1 ATS in their last 52 games versus .601 or greater opposition, including 4-0 ATS in their last four home games versus teams with a .601 or greater road record. Harvard’s success begins at the defensive end of the floor where the Crimson are allowing just 63.0 points per game (39.2% FG; 29.5% 3-PT) to teams that that would combine to average 69.4 points per game against a mediocre defense. The Crimson are 2-0 SU and ATS at home where they are limiting opponents to 57.0 points per game (24.4% 3-PT). Harvard entered the 2022-23 campaign undervalued following last year’s 13-13 finish that was caused by endless injuries. Head coach Tommy Amaker has three starters back, including senior forward Chris Ledlum, who is averaging a team-high 18.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. With Amaker standing at a profitable 19-7 ATS as a home underdog (or pick) during his fifteen-year tenure in Cambridge, grab the points with Harvard and invest with confidence.
