San Francisco’s backcourt is anchored by senior guard Khalil Shabazz, a two-time All-WCC second-team selection who is averaging a team-high 15.3 points per game. Shabazz is joined in the backcourt by Washington State transfer Tyrell Roberts, who is averaging 13.8 points per game (48.8% FG; 40.4% 3-PT). Returning junior Julian Rishwain had an excellent summer and provides leadership on and off the court, while Texas A&M transfer Marcus Williams provides depth off the bench. Utah State recently lost senior guard Rylan Jones to a concussion, which is not reflected in the point spread. Jones played in 31 games with 22 starts last season and is a key component to the Aggies’ roster. My math model makes this game a pick so grab the points with San Francisco and invest with confidence.
