I know the Mets are the better team and Max Scherzer is usually dominant. However, we're getting plus money with the CY Young winner Sandy Alcántara at home. Last season in 121 home innings, Alcántara had a 1.64 ERA and .191 allowed batting average with 109 strikeouts. Alcántara was a home dog just 3 times last season, and the fish won 2 of those games. Also, Scherzer is allowing a .268 batting average with 3 homers in 97 at bats against current Miami hitters. Avisail Garcia and Jean Segura especially have had great success against the Mets ace. It will be a packed house for a change, and you're not going to get Alcántara at this price often. I say take advantage of it while you can.
