The Stars missed the postseason last year mostly because of their inability to create high danger chances and their ability to finish on the chance they did have.

Rangers will be playing the second of a road back to back, off of a struggle to get anything past anything past Vanacek (Wash) once they finally were able to apply some pressure.

For Dallas this is the first time we’ll see the new faces and I suspect it will take them a few games to gel. Dallas got over the 3 goal mark once in preseason, which means we would have to lean on the rangers to bump us over that total and nothing I saw last night gives me a secure feeling about that.
