The Pirates are hot out of the gates with a 9-2 record and swinging some hot bats. I like them to keep that going this afternoon against Tigers starter Mize. Mize allowed 3 runs and walked 2 batters in just 4.1 IP in his lone start against the Mets this season. Perez is off to a good start with the Pirates at 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA but he has had his problems with the Tigers. In 12 career starts against them his ERA is over 6. This game goes over the posted total.
