UCF Knights (2-1) vs Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (1-2)

UCF opened as an 18-point favorite and this line has gone up by a field goal already. I still think there is value on the home team here and I like the Golden Knights by at least 24 here. Georgia Tech's defense has not been miserable, but it is coming off a rough performance vs. Ole Miss where the Jackets allowed over 300 rushing yards! UCF is known to be a pass-happy offense, but this team knows how to run the football and has pounded the rock a ton this season. UCF is averaging 271 rushing yards per game and a whopping 5.7 yards per carry! John Rhys Plumlee is a dual threat QB that actually leads the team in rushing with just under 300 rushing yards already. If GT can't get its defense off the field by stopping the run, it will be a long day, especially when seeing how badly the GT offense has struggled in 2022. GT only put up 10 points vs. Clemson in Week 1 which is understandable as Clemson is a strong defensive team. However, only putting up 35 points vs. a weak FCS team and then getting shutout at Ole Miss is not where you want to be offensively. The offensive line allowed seven sacks last week and with how good UCF's secondary has been this season, I don't see things getting any easier for GT offensively here. UCF should keep its foot on the peddle, just as it did last week in Boca. SMU is on deck but I don't think this UCF team looks past its chance to beat up on an ACC, Power 5 school no matter who it is. Give me UCF.
