The home team is 0-5 straight up and against the spread in the last five meetings between these two. In the last four meetings, the underdog has won the game outright! I don't think the Lobos win this game, but this is a case of too many points in my opinion. New Mexico defensively has been able to put a ton of pressure on opposing QBs, which includes 4 sacks last week at LSU. New Mexico's defense should be good enough to make this a ball game and even though New Mexico has not had great QB play yet this season, the Lobos are facing a really weak UNLV secondary that has conceded over 275 passing yards in each of the last three weeks. I like the direction that UNLV is headed in but this was still a two-win team last year and I don't think the Rebels should be laying more than two touchdowns, even at home. Give me the points with the New Mexico Lobos.
