Will Howard is leaving Manhattan but Avery Johnson is not a bad replacement at all. Johnson is a dual threat who earned six rushing touchdowns and kept a clean TD:INT ratio of 3:0 in limited work this season. While you have to give N.C State credit for its run at the end of the season, I still believe that this team is overrated to an extent, even on the defensive side. With the Wolfpack's best defensive player Payton Wilson out for the NFL Draft, this defense has to replace a ton. Wilson led the team in tackles, interceptions, and was second by 0.5 in sacks, so he basically did everything at the LB position. K-State should move the ball well, and I don't love Armstrong or this NC State offense in general. NC State has the special teams advantage, but I don't think it will end up being the difference maker. I can't see NC State keeping up in this game, so give me K-State.
