St. Bonaventure has not been great against the spread this season but neither has Duquesne and I think the Bonnies have a clear advantage in almost all facets of the game here. St. Bonaventure should be able to attack the glass against a Duquesne team that is ranked 278th in defensive rebounding. St. Bonaventure is the better shooting team, has the much better defense, and should have no problems winning this game and covering, even on the road. This is a rebuilding year for Duquesne and even though the Dukes beat UMass to start A10 play, Duquesne has not looked good for most of the season and is only 3-4 overall at home. Other than Dayton, St. Bonaventure is probably the toughest team that Duquesne has seen this season, while the Bonnies took on a much tougher non-conference schedule against teams like Boise St, Clemson, Marquette, Buffalo (all wins), UConn, and Northern Iowa. St. Bonnies is battle-tested, more talented, better coached, and should earn a resounding road win over Duquesne here.

Ron’s Pick St. Bonaventure Bonnies: -6 -110
