Boston College has to be considered one of the weakest teams in the ACC at this point and even though the Eagles have earned some upset wins over ND and Clemson, BC is still a fade at home here. Virginia Tech can light it up from the perimeter and Boston College has one of the worst 3-point defenses in the country. Not to mention, BC has also struggled shooting from distance itself, ranked 191st in 3-point %. Boston College's lack of a consistent offense is going to hurt its chances at home here against a strong VT defense. I expect a big day from Keve Aluma, who can stretch the floor and open up opportunities for VT's outside shooters like Mutts and Murphy. I will lay the points with the Hokies.
