Binghamton Bearcats (7-8) vs Hartford Hawks (3-11)

Binghamton has gotten very lucky in its last two games and that is why we are getting a great price with Hartford here. Binghamton should have lost by 10+ to Stony Brook on January 19th, but Stony Brook could not cash in on open looks inside and outside the three-point line. NJIT's offense struggled from the three-point line as well, and it also shot just 36% from the free-throw line in its 68-57 loss to Binghamton. Now, bring in Hartford, one of the better shooting teams in the America East currently. Hartfords' defense may not always be pretty, but the Hawks are 34th in the nation in effective FG %, 126th in the nation in three-point shooting (which is great for an America East team), and 12th in the nation in 2-point FG %. Hartford can and will take advantage of a terrible Binghamton defense in this game. I think a guy like Hunter Marks could light it up from all over the court, just as Stony Brook's Anthony Roberts did on Jan 19th. I like Hartford to pull away in the second half and win this game by 5+.
