Oklahoma Sooners (0-1) vs Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions (1-1)

Oklahoma is coming off a big upset over Sam Houston State. We were on Sam Houston +17 in that game and the Bearkats found us a nice winner, but in this game, I like a bounce-back blowout performance by Oklahoma as it takes on a Pine Bluff team that also flirted with an upset win. Pine Bluff played TCU very tough in its opener, only losing by a single point in the end, but a lot of that was because Pine Bluff went absolutely bonkers from three in that game. Pine Bluff made 13 of 29 attempts (44.8%) while TCU shot a miserable 4-21 from deep (19%). You have to give credit for Pine Bluff hanging in that game and SWAC teams have traditionally done well ATS in nonconference play, but this is a bad spot for the Golden Lions. Oklahoma has had a few days of rest and still has the talent to earn the blowout win in this game. Pine Bluff's defense is nowhere near as tough as Sam Houston's was and Oklahoma should find a lot of easy baskets down low with its strong frontcourt, featuring the Groves brothers. Oklahoma's defense was not the problem in that loss to Sam Houston and should have a lockdown performance in this one as well. Oklahoma is facing a team that was ranked 358th in adjusted defensive efficiency last year and is ranked 363rd (out of 363 teams mind you) in adjusted defensive efficiency according to KenPom this year. Give me Oklahoma in a perfect get-right spot.
