South Florida Bulls (0-2) vs Stetson Hatters (1-0)

Stetson is coming off its big-time upset win over another Florida team in FSU, but the Hatters have had a long week off and I don't like this spot for Stetson at all. South Florida is a fantastic rebounding and defensive team. We saw USF hold Auburn to under 70 points and earned 20 offensive rebounds on the Tigers as well. If USF was a little bit better of a shooting team, the Bulls could have certainly pulled off the upset in that game. USF did some work in the offseason trying to bring in some shooting help including Tyler Harris from Memphis. Harris shot an incredible 39.3% from three last year at Memphis but so far this season he is a dreadful 0-13! Harris is a good shooter and he is going to get going very soon, and it very well could be this game where he breaks out. Keyshawn Bryant has been a solid scorer for USF this season and I expect a strong showing from him in this one as well. Stetson does not have the frontcourt depth to go toe-to-toe with USF for 40 minutes in my opinion and even though Stetson was red hot from three in game one of the season, Luke Brown's epic shooting performance is not a sustainable way to win or cover ballgames. I think USF's good defense leads to ample scoring and free-throw opportunities on the other end and I like the Bulls to win by double-digits here.
