Florida finally beat FSU last year for the first time since 2014 and now, the Gators are looking like they will take 2022’s matchup as well against their biggest rivals. FSU is in really bad shape, as even though the Seminoles are shooting the ball a lot better from three than most people expected, FSU is still an awful 0-3 with three upset losses. Florida is the toughest team FSU has faced this season by far, and that is bad news for a struggling Seminoles team. FSU is not good on the defensive glass and with a guy like Colin Castleton down low for the Gators, FSU may have big problems in this game defensively. FSU is one-dimensional on offense and an analytical coach like Todd Golden for the Gators can really make FSU pay for that. Expect Florida to defend the perimeter well, take care of the basketball and the defensive glass, and earn a strong victory over its rivals on the road. I will lay the lumber with the Florida Gators here.
