Ron's Saturday College Basketball Bank Shot Best Bet

This BYU team is an easy fade for me right now as I have watched the Cougars play quite a bit this season and I am not impressed. You guys know that I am a firm believer in numbers and stats, and the numbers do not lie in regard to how bad the turnover problem has been for BYU. BYU is ranked 345th in turnover percentage this season, coughing the ball up on 25.3% of its possessions. Nicholls can exploit that as the Colonels are 18th in the nation in defensive turnover percentage, forcing turnovers on 26.5% of their opponents' possessions. Nicholls has taken on a very tough schedule so far and has been rather unlucky defensively, as teams are shooting at unsustainable rates against the Colonels. Arizona shot 60%+ from three in Nicholls' opener but it was promising to see the Colonels put up 75 points in that game and then look competitive against a very good Wyoming team. Nicholls is well-rested and has the roster to make BYU uncomfortable right from the tip. My only concern would be defensive rebounding from Nicholls, but I think the Colonels make up for it with their very fast-paced defense that forces a lot of bad decisions, including bad shots. Give me the points with Nicholls.
