Tarleton State is a live dog on Sunday in my opinion as the Texans play a very aggressive defense that forces a lot of turnovers and on the other side of the court, Tarleton State does a great job at getting to the free throw line. When I am looking for underdogs in nonconference play, especially when the favorite is a Power 6 team, I always look for underdogs that play very strong defensively and the Texans check that box. Boston College is not a great shooting team besides Ashton-Langford and I think Tarleton State provides the most difficult matchup BC has seen this season. Tarleton State has already seen a mix of styles and has taken on some tough opponents in Arizona State and Belmont. Tarleton State beat Belmont by eight despite Belmont shooting 50% from three in that game, so I think Tarleton State is in good shape here and should keep this game within a bucket, if not earn the outright upset win.
