Memphis may have some injuries to worry about from a long-term perspective, but I still really like this matchup for the Tigers against a Temple team that I firmly believe is overrated. Temple pushed at the final number vs. Tulsa last time out despite having a big advantage in perimeter shooting. Memphis is coming off a double-OT heartbreaker to UCF, but the Tigers should feel fine about their performance. Memphis forced two OTs on the road somehow, as UCF went crazy from 3 hitting a whopping 16-35 attempts (45.7%). Memphis' defense forces a ton of turnovers, which bodes well against a Temple team that ranks 267th nationally in turnover % on offense. Memphis will just have to take care of the defensive glass a bit better in this game, but that should not be too difficult against a below-average offensive rebounding team in Temple. I like Memphis at this price, so give me the Tigers.
