Alabama State's offense is currently underrated as the Hornets are getting pretty good looks, taking care of the basketball, and attacking the offensive glass but are not shooting the ball well. Alabama State is dead last in D1 hoops in 2-point FG %, but as a team, Alabama State is ranked a solid 115th in the nation in FT shooting so I do think Alabama State's FG numbers will improve in SWAC play. Alabama A&M should not be this big of a favorite, as A&M has been the better team this season but just slightly and Alabama State has taken on the much tougher schedule. With Alabama A&M being one of the worst defensive rebounding teams in the nation, I expect Alabama State to get 15+ offensive rebounds in this game. If Alabama State has a decent shooting performance, it should be more than enough for a shot at an outright win and at least a cover. Give me the points.
