West Virginia Mountaineers (11-7) vs Texas Longhorns (15-3)

West Virginia played sustainable, strong basketball against TCU and despite being outshot in terms of %, WVU still found the 9-point win. This is what home-court advantage in conference college basketball can do for a team, as WVU was down and out, on a five-game losing streak with two top-15 ranked opponents in front of it, but the Mountaineers found the upset win over TCU and I think WVU beats #7 Texas as well. These teams match up very evenly as although Texas is the better overall defensive team, WVU is the better long-distance shooting team and is getting better looks on the floor as well. I give the edge to WVU rebounding-wise as the Mountaineers are one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the nation and are really improving in defensive rebounding as well. That can be seen in WVU's last game against a TCU team that is top-30 in the country in offensive rebounding % but only had four offensive boards at WVU. I like WVU to win this one at home.
