Ron's Tuesday College Basketball Bank Shot Best Bet

I went over this game in depth on the Bank Shot Breakdown and I do really like this under tonight. These teams combined for 159 points in the first meeting but it took a lot to get there. That included both teams shooting 50% from the perimeter (DePaul 11-22, Georgetown 7-14). Neither team shoots better than 36% from deep overall this season, so I don't think we can expect another outstanding performance from both of these teams in game two of the season series. We saw last year a very similar game one, where both teams shot above 40% from deep and the game ended up scoring in the 150s. The second time around, however, we saw both teams struggle from the perimeter and both teams scored fewer than 70 points in the end. That second game was at Capital One Arena, where this game will be hosted as well. Because of the high-scoring first game between these two and the fact that Georgetown is known for playing sieve defense, the total for this particular game is inflated is bloated in my opinion. Georgetown will certainly play in its fair share of overs for the rest of the season, but I don't think tonight's game will be one of them.
