Manhattan played at Niagara on Friday and will only have one day off in between that loss and this game, while Canisius played its last game last Sunday, giving the Golden Griffins the home court and rest advantage. Canisius is the better team in terms of shot quality, as the Golden Griffins' defense is undervalued currently. Fundamentally, Canisius has been the superior team by far as Canisius is 110th in the nation in offensive rebounding percentage while Manhattan is a worrisome 356th in defensive rebounding. Canisius should get plenty of second-chance looks in this one and that will hurt this subpar Manhattan defense. Canisius has also played a much tougher schedule this season, including a gauntlet of a non-conference slate. Manhattan has only won two road games this season and those wins were against teams far worse than Canisius. Manhattan's defense has kept it in ballgames but in its third-straight road game after only one day of rest, the spot and numbers do not support the Jaspers in this one. Give me Canisius.
