WMU is 2-1 SU at home in conference play and NIU is overrated offensively. WMU has a huge advantage on the glass in this game as NIU is ranked near the bottom of the conference in both offensive and defensive rebounding while Western Michigan is 40th in the nation in offensive rebounding %. WMU's offense can score points in a hurry at home and its defense is not as bad as its adjusted defensive efficiency total may suggest, in my opinion. NIU will be held to one shot per trip in this game and with the Huskies having issues at the FT and turning the ball over, I don't think NIU's offense does enough here to stay in this game for long. I like WMU to win and cover at home.
