This game sets up to be very slow-paced and low-scoring. Florida and Tennessee both rank inside the top 10 in the nation in adjusted defensive efficiency and when a home team is getting this many points in what should be a defensive battle, there is value there in my opinion. The last time these teams met in Gainesville a worse Gator team blew out the Vols 75-49. Last year's matchup at Tennessee was decided by single-digits and that was with Tennessee shooting in the 40s% from three. Tennessee has yet to be tested away from home in the SEC as its four road games in the conference were against some of the SEC's weakest teams (South Carolina, Ole Miss, LSU, and Mississippi State). We saw Tennessee lose a low-scoring battle with Kentucky at home not too long ago as well. Tennessee is in a tough spot coming off its double-digit win over Texas and a matchup with Auburn on deck. I like the Gators to cover the number at least and potentially pull off a major upset at home here.
