St. John's Red Storm (15-12) vs Creighton Bluejays (20-6)

We faded UConn off its huge, blowout win over its Big East rival Marquette and that worked wonders for us as Creighton earned the W. Creighton won that game against the #1 team in the nation in blowout fashion, and now on the road against a desperate St. John’s team, it is time to fade the Blue Jays. Other than the clear letdown spot, St. John’s plainly matches up well vs. Creighton and we saw that in the first meeting of the season series as it was a one-point contest. The Red Storm did end up losing that game, so they are not only playing to help boost their NCAA Tourney resume but also with revenge. Creighton’s offense relies on making lots of threes (as we saw vs. the Huskies) but St. John’s does not concede a ton of points from the perimeter (less than 30% of its points given up come from threes). On the flip side, Creighton’s defense is stout and can force teams to take tough perimeter shots, but it can also be beaten inside and St. John’s looks to score inside the three-point arc anyhow. This St. John’s team is one of the most experienced in the nation and while the Creighton fanbase should travel well for this one, this is still a huge home game for the Red Storm. I will definitely take the points with St. John’s here.
Ron’s Pick St. John's Red Storm: +2.5 -110
