Cincinnati Bearcats (16-12) vs Kansas State Wildcats (17-11)

Cincinnati played tough at Houston last time out and while this may not be the season for the Bearcats to do big things, the future is very bright. Games like these should prove that, as Cincinnati still has a very nice home court advantage and has a very winnable matchup here. K-State is one of the worst road teams in this conference as it only has two true road wins overall this season and its last road win was on January 9th! K-State does a few things that are big no-nos when playing on the road. The first is turning the ball over, as K-State is ranked a horrifying 348th nationally in TO%! Another thing you need to avoid is giving your opponent more than one shot per trip but with the Wildcats ranked 295th in defensive rebounding %, we often see teams dominate the offensive glass over K-State. That should definitely be the case here, as although Cincinnati is a poor shooting team, it attacks the offensive glass like nobody's business and is ranked 7th nationally in offensive rebounding %. I expect fast break buckets and second-chance points galore for Cincinnati in this matchup, both of which do a great job in firing up a home crowd. Cincinnati's defense is already elite and should hold strong enough to win and cover this number here. Give me Cincinnati.
