On day one of the tourney when we took Purdue laying the points vs. Grambling I mentioned that Purdue was my pick to win it all. I'll admit, this is not the draw I hoped for in a potential national title game, but Purdue has been just as dominant as UConn has in this tourney with both teams going 5-0 SU and ATS. Someone's 0 has gotta go, and I think Purdue at least finds the cover if not the outright win in this championship game. Despite UConn's late push (or dress up) for the cover, that Alabama game showed that UConn is not immortal and can be beaten. Bama didn't have the defense to do it, but Purdue does. Purdue is more than just Edey as this is one of the best three-point shooting teams in the country with very smart guards. I expect Braeden Smith to bounce back from a lousy game in the Final 4 and I look for the Boilermakers to compete down to the final whistle. Give me the points and Purdue ML here.
