Pittsburgh Pirates (38-64) vs Philadelphia Phillies (51-51)

I like the over between the Phillies and Pirates here. Both teams have been run paper-thin in terms of the bullpen. The Phillies played a doubleheader yesterday in which they used seven pitchers in game two. The Pirates were blown out 12-0 at home and had to use four pitchers out of the pen as well. The Phillies cannot afford to fall any further behind the Mets in the standings, so I expect the offense to show up at PNC Park.. Vince Velasquez of the Phillies has been inconsistent and when he is at his worse, things get ugly quickly. On the other side, Wil Crowe has similar issues, as he has allowed more than 2.00 home runs per nine and over 4.25 walks per nine as well. I could see the Phillies pushing us over by themselves, but nonetheless, I like the over in this matchup. This could be a long one.
