The Mariners have one of the lowest K rates vs. LHP in the league in the last 30 days and they are also in the top 5 for BB rate and top-10 in ISO. This is despite holding a .220 BABIP during that stretch, which is the lowest in the league. The Mariners crushed a lefty on Monday afternoon in Jose Suarez and I expect the same against J.P. Sears, who is regressing a lot right now. Sears has allowed five homers in his last two games combined. Luis Castillo is in great form and is looking for revenge after struggling vs. OAK earlier in the year. The A's have struggled at home this season and their hitting numbers vs. RHP are not good at all. Give me the Mariners -1.5 in a game that is completely one-sided on paper statistically.
