Texas Rangers (63-83) vs Los Angeles Angels (64-83)

This is a tough Wednesday card that I will personally be treading lightly with, but the over in the LAA vs. TEX is a strong play in my eyes. You have Tucker Davidson on the mound for LAA who is a lefty that has not been very sharp at the MLB level. The Rangers have hit LHP very well at their home park in the last month and basically all season long, so I think Texas can get to Davidson for a few runs early on. The Rangers are sizable favorites in this game despite losing on Tuesday night, and I think most of that stems from their matchup with the young lefty. Dane Dunning has not been in great form and the fact that he has allowed at least one home run in each of his last six games is very concerning considering that Dunning is supposed to be a groundball specialist. Dunning still has control issues and with the Angels' lineup heating up as we near the end of the season, I don't love this spot for Dunning. We also have two bullpens that are well below average and I think we should be able to see scoring from start to finish of this game. Give me the over here and I would play it up to 10.
