Philadelphia Phillies (81-67) vs Atlanta Braves (93-56)

Aaron Nola vs. Jake Odorizzi Round 2 as these pitchers just faced each other. I think we see the opposite result of that game as I like the Phillies to get to Odorizzi too much for the Braves to compete. Odorizzi threw 90+ pitches through 4.2 innings despite only allowing one walk and two hits in that game last week. That tells me that the Phillies' hitters were working the count very well and the team was starting to pick up on things offensively as the night carried on. The worst thing for Odorizzi would have been facing the lineup the third time around, but now he is forced to face them as the starter here and I don't like his chances at all. The Phillies are #1 in team OPS vs. RHP in the last month and while Aaron Nola has had his struggles vs. Atlanta this season, he has been able to miss a lot of bats and earn plenty of strikeouts. I think Nola is good enough here and the Phillies' bats take care of the rest. You won't see Atlanta as this big of an underdog very often, but in my opinion, the Braves are dogs for a reason. Give me Philly ML.
