The Angels have hit lefties well in August and that's what they face in Hurter, but Hurter has pitched very well through his first 17+ innings and I don't think the Halos have enough here to counteract Cueto on their side of the mound. Cueto was able to salvage 6.1 innings of decent baseball (on paper) in his season debut, but through that one start Cueto owned an xERA in the 12.00s! Cueto conceded a TON of sharp contact and left pitches down the heart of the plate at sub-90 mph often. The Tigers aren't an offensive juggernaut, but this team is scoring more and more recently and really any team that has nine guys in the lineup that can hold a bat are good enough for me against Cueto. Give me the Tigers -1.5.
