Oakland has all the momentum in this series and has been the better team in 2nd half of the season in my opinion. Kirby is a strong starter but he is not in the best form and he has not been the best on the road. Sears had a stellar August and the Mariners are below league average in OPS and ISO vs. LHP in the last month + they own their signature high strikeout rate. The A's only used Hogan Harris out of the pen last night as Kotsay has really managed his pen well down the stretch this season. I will gladly take the plus money with the A's here.
