Manaea has looked like a completely different pitcher recently and the Reds own a measly 16-23 record vs. LHP this year. Cincinnati's ISO vs. LHP in the last month is very poor and the K rate is also very steep, which benefits Manaea as he has actually been able to earn Ks more than he did last year and at the start of this season. Cruz is a nice opener and has pitched well recently, but the fact of the matter is the Reds are just 1-5 in games where Cruz starts in his career. The Reds' bullpen has been so-so this season, but I especially don't love it when it has to go the distance and with how well the Mets are hitting, I think this could end up being a blowout. This is also a tough spot for Cincinnati as it just swept the Astros at home on Thursday and now has to go on the road and face this rested and red hot Mets team. I look for a sluggish performance from Cincy here and I like the Mets to roll.
