Kansas City Chiefs (13-5) vs Buffalo Bills (12-6)

I am going ahead and placing a future bet on the Bills to win the Super Bowl at +400. I think if Buffalo gets through this game against the Chiefs, Bills Mafia is in the clear. I do like Buffalo tonight for a few reasons. We cannot ignore the fact that the Bills dominated these Chiefs earlier in the season. Sure, revenge is a factor, but the Bills are not going to be caught off guard in a playoff game. The Chiefs went 9-1 down the stretch of the season, but if you look at some of the teams they faced and the performances they had, it was a lot less impressive. Not covering against the Giants and barely beating an Aaron Rodgers-less Packers team was worrisome, the Chargers and Bengals both scoring almost at will in games the Chiefs allowed more than 400 total yards in each; there were some inconsistent showings from this KC team, especially on defense. The Bills slaughtered a Bill Belichik defense two times down the stretch and I think the #1 defense in the league can make some key stops against Mahomes and company. This was not Mahomes' best regular season we have seen from him, as 14 interceptions and a few other mistakes pique my interest here. It is never beating the Chiefs at Arrowhead but I think the Bills get the job done and head back home for the AFC Championship against Cincinnati next week.
