Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) vs Minnesota Vikings (1-0)

I am rolling with the Eagles on the moneyline in this one. These are two teams that I was very high on going into the season, but I give the home team the edge. Kirk Cousins has been miserable in primetime games in his career, but this play goes beyond that. Philly did not cover the spread in Week 1 against the Lions and I am seeing a lot of overreaction to how the Eagles' defense performed in that game. The Lions showed on Sunday that their offense is going to be potent this season and with a great OL, great RB, and a good WR group, the Lions are not an easy win anymore. The Eagles' offense was in great shape in that game with 38 points, 27 first downs, and over 450 yards. I think Philly's offense is special and has one of the best O-Lines in football, but I also think the defense steps up in this game and puts some pressure on Kirk Cousins. This is still a talented Eagles' D-Line and I am not 100% sold on the offensive line for Minnesota, especially on the road in a hostile environment. Justin Jefferson is more than a handful and I would not be shocked to see him have another huge day, but I don't think that will be enough in the end. This should be a close and entertaining game, but I like the Eagles to grab the victory in the end in front of the home crowd.
