Denver Broncos (1-1) vs San Francisco 49ers (1-1)

There is a reason why Jimmy G was not the guy for San Francisco at starting QB, as even though he has been a solid game manager and is the best backup QB in the league, I still do not think he has the talent level to carry the 49ers' offense here. San Fran is now down its starting RB in Mitchell and QB Lance for a significant time (Lance for the season), and with Kittle banged up (expected to play) this offense has certainly seen better days. The 49ers' defense has played very well, but against the Bears in a monsoon and the Seahawks at home (also in the rain). Russell Wilson has not been great, but in Denver in front of the lights with still a lot of weapons on its side, this is definitely the toughest matchup San Francisco has had this season. The same can certainly be said about Denver, but I still think with Jimmy G at QB the Broncos are the better team and therefore should be favored at home. We are getting +1.5 points because of the Broncos' underwhelming start to the year, but this is still a team with a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, and with Jerry Jeudy and Patrick Surtain both on track or expected to play, I have to take Denver here at a fantastic price.
