Despite disappointing results as of late, I have actually liked the way the Sens are playing and I think this team is due for a breakout soon. Against a team that we see almost every season have a hot start and a quick fall, the Sabres, I think Ottawa is in a great spot here for a win. The Senators outplayed the Islanders in their last game in my opinion but a hot goaltender from NYI kept Ottawa off the board often. The Senators are generating a lot of scoring chances and the offense should be too much for the Sabres here. The significant advantage that I think Ottawa has is on the PP, as the Sabres' PK is giving up a lot of high-danger chances and the Senators have looked strong on the man advantage. I will take Ottawa ML here.
