Carolina at home in a revenge spot is where I want to be at -125 here. Freddy Anderson may be injured but Antti Raanta has been the better netminder and I like him in this spot at home. The Avalanche have surrendered a lot of scoring chances and shots on goal this season and it is never easy to win in Raleigh as the road dog. Carolina outplayed the Avs 5 on 5 when these teams met a few days ago, but special teams for the Avalanche ended up being the difference maker. Colorado has an excellent powerplay but if the Canes stay out of the box, I don't think the Avs can compete here. We are getting a bargain price with the home team because of the recent loss and because they are facing the defending Stanley Cup Champs. I like the Canes on the ML in this one.
