This is a play on the DETROIT TIGERS as part of our MLB Afternoon Triple Play. Milwaukee snapped a three-game slide with a 10-0 win last night as the offense got on track after scoring a total of two runs in those three previous losses. The Brewers extended their lead in the National League Central to 6.5 games and they are significant favorites despite being just 19-16 on the road with a pitching edge not corelating to that number. The Tigers had their three-game winning streak snapped with a loss to Texas on Wednesday and they have managed only one run over the last two defeats. Detroit is still 8-5 over its last 13 games and while it got back over .500, it now finds itself a game under .500 and we expect a bounce back today at a great price. Freddy Peralta has a 3.74 ERA and 1.05 WHIP which put him in the top tier of starters and after three great road outings to start the season, he has struggled away from Milwaukee with a 5.82 ERA over his last four road starts. The top line numbers of Casey Mize are nothing special as he has a 4.70 ERA and 1.49 WHIP in 11 starts but those are due to only two bad outings where he allowed 11 runs and those came on the road against the Yankees and Royals, ranked No. 1 and No. 7 in OPS respectively. Take those away and his ERA drops to 3.28 in his other nine starts with Detroit going 7-2 in those games. 10* (926) Detroit Tigers
