This is a play on the CHICAGO WHITE SOX as part of our MLB Wednesday Triple Play Sweeper. The White Sox lost the series opener 12-3 on Tuesday following a series win against Boston over the weekend and we love the bounce back spot tonight with the pitching. Jonathan Cannon has made three starts and is coming off a tough one at Cleveland and he is back home where he opened the season by not allowing a run in five innings against the Angels. He has a 4.62 ERA in 24 career starts which is certainly below average but he counters that with a respectable 1.35 WHIP and his xFIP is nearly identical to his opponent tonight so there is value picking the right spot with the pitching matchup and this is one of those. The Athletics have been up and down with a 7-10 record and have gone 1-4 in their last five games following a win and are now laying a similar number to Tuesday. Osvaldo Bido was a pleasant surprise to the rotation last season and posted a 3.41 ERA in nine starts and seven relief appearances. He has a 3.00 ERA in three starts but has been fortunate with his 1.60 WHIP and 4.99 xFIP and very below average K:BB%. What might seem like a good matchup, he is now laying his biggest number of the season and as a comparison, he was -1-4 at Colorado, a worse team than Chicago. 10* (918) Chicago White Sox
