At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Pittsburgh Penguins over the Nashville Predators.  Two days ago, the Predators did something that only three other NHL teams have managed to do all season.  They beat the best team in the league -- the Bruins -- in regulation.  If the Predators end up making it into the playoffs with a Wild Card seed, they may look back on Tuesday as the most important win of the season.  Of course a win tonight against a dangerous Penguins team that is also fighting for a post-season spot would be huge as well.  The Pens have made the playoffs for 16 straight seasons -- every season since they've had Crosby and Malkin -- but they're in danger of that streak being broken after an embarrassing 7-4 loss to the Red Wings Tuesday night and the Panthers breathing down their neck for the final Wild Card.  The good news is that five of their final eight games will be played here at home where they have a 20-11-5 record this season.  The Pens are 4-1 in the last five meetings with the Preds and the home team has taken three of the last four.  Take Pittsburgh.
