Ohio Bobcats / Eastern Michigan Eagles - Over 61.5
The Ohio Bobcats will travel to Rynearson Stadium to take on the Eastern Michigan Eagles this Tuesday night and I’m expecting a high-scoring game in this one that crushes the Over!
Ohio comes into this game with just a 2-7 overall record, however, this is a team that has recently seem to figure it out on the offensive end. Ohio upset Miami (OH) last week in a 35-33 margin which saw an impressive performance by QB Kurtis Rourke & RB De’Montre Tuggle. Eastern Michigan has struggled slowing down opposing rushing attacks this season which I think will lead to Ohio to have multiple scoring drives.
Eastern Michigan is still playing for a chance to win the MAC-West and is coming off an impressive performance on the road last week where they beat Toledo by a 52-49 margin. Toledo had one of the better defenses in the MAC going into that game however, had no answers for QB Ben Bryant (354 passing yards, 3 TD) & WR Hassan Beydoun (12 rec, 197 yards, 2 TD). Eastern Michigan ranks 26th in College Football in scoring offense and should have plenty of success at home against an Ohio defense that is allowing over 31.0 ppg and has struggled against both opposing passing & rushing attacks.
Over is 6-1 in the Bobcats last 7 games in November and 4-0 in the Bobcats last 4 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game. Over is 4-0 in the Eagles last 4 Tuesday games and 5-1 in the Eagles last 6 games following a ATS win.
These MAC mid-week games always seem to be high scoring and as I see two defenses that are going to struggle a bit tonight, I think this game has no issue combining for over 65 points. Take the Over!
