The Ohio Bobcats will travel to Rynearson Stadium to take on the Eastern Michigan Eagles this Tuesday Night in MAC Action and I’m taking the Eastern Michigan Eagles to cover this mid-range home spread.

Ohio was able to snap a 3-game losing streak last week with an impressive win at home against Miami (OH), however, this is still a football team that comes into this game with just a 2-7 record and just a 1-3 record on the road in which those losses have come by an average of 21.7 ppg. Ohio has played some solid teams tough in MAC play this season and the offense has looked better as of late, however, the defense still has a ton of issues as they are allowing over 31.0 ppg and have struggled against both opposing rushing & passing attacks.

Eastern Michigan has won 3 of their last 4 games and showed how dangerous their offense can be after defeating the Toledo Rockets by a 52-49 margin last week. Eastern Michigan racked up 490 yards of offense against Toledo and comes into this game ranked 26th in scoring offense in College Football.

The Bobcats are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall, however, are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Eagles are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 Tuesday games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 conference games.

Ohio is going to have some success against the Eastern Michigan defense in this one, however, I just don’t see how the Eagles don’t score at will at home against this Ohio defense and as I’m confident that the Eagles can win this one by at least 1 TD, I’m taking Eastern Michigan in this one.
