The Akron Zips will travel to the Glass Bowl to take on the Toledo Rockets this Saturday afternoon in College Football action and I expect the Rockets to close out their regular season with 30+ point win.

Akron comes into this game with just a 2-9 record on the season and has really struggled on both ends of the field as the Zips come into this game ranked just 116th in scoring offense & 124th in scoring defense.

Toledo has had an up and down season, however, do come into this game with a winning record and have looked great over the last two weeks in double-digit road victories against Bowling Green & Ohio. Toledo has been led by a solid offense that is averaging 32.8 ppg on 421.1 total yards per game.

The Zips are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 November games and just 9-20 ATS in their last 29 conference games. The Rockets are 4-0 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game.

Akron had no answers defensively in their recent loss against Kent State, allowing the Golden Flashes to rush for 410 yards (7.9 yds/carry) & 4 TD on 52 carries, and as I think Toledo has similar success on the ground at home in this one, I think Toledo ends the season strong and has no trouble covering this large spread.
