The Army Black Knights will travel to Cameron Indoor Stadium to take on the 9th ranked Duke Blue Devils this Friday night and I think the Blue Devils will have no issue covering this large home spread.

Duke opened their season with an impressive 79-71 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats and have two of the better players in College Basketball in Trevor Keels & Paolo Banchero who combined for 47 points in their victory over the Wildcats. The scary part for opposing defenses, is that despite the solid showing offensively, Duke still could be better as they shot just 7.7% from beyond the arc.

Army was able to pick up a win in their season opener, however, it’s hard to be that impressed by the Black Knights by beating the SUNY New Paltz Hawks. Army was just 12-10 last season while being nothing but average on both ends of the court and I just don’t see the Black Knights being much better this season.

The Black Knights are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games, however, are just 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The Blue Devils are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

Army just doesn’t have the talent to matchup with Duke in this one and as I expect the Blue Devils to put up 90+ points in this one, I think Duke wins this one by 30+ and covers this spread. Good Luck!
