The top-ranked Duke Blue Devils will travel to Value City Arena to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes this Tuesday night and I like Duke to continue their strong start to their season and to cover this small road spread.

Duke has looked like the best team in the nation to start the season with convincing wins over Kentucky & Gonzaga and have been great offensively as the Blue Devils currently rank 18th in scoring offense & 39th in FG%.

Ohio State has lost 2 of their last 3 games, with close losses to Xavier & Florida and although the offense has been decent, the defense has struggled a bit as the Buckeyes rank just 193rd in scoring defense & t-209th in rebound margin.

The Blue Devils are 5-2-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall & 7-3-2 ATS in their last 12 games as favorite. The Buckeyes are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up loss & 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home games.

Ohio State has a great player in E.D. Liddell, however, the Buckeyes just don’t have enough talent to slow down a well-balance Duke team and as I think Duke has no trouble pulling away for the victory in this one, I think they do enough to cover this small spread.
