Iowa Hawkeyes / Purdue Boilermakers – Over 158.5
The Iowa Hawkeyes will travel to Mackey Arena to take on the 2nd ranked Purdue Boilermakers and as I see both teams scoring at least 80 points in this one, I’m going with the Over.
Iowa comes into this game ranked 1st in the country in scoring offense at 94.0 ppg which shooting an impressive 50.4% from the field & 39.6% from beyond the arc. Iowa likes to push the pace and have done a great job not turning the ball over this season as they come into this game ranked 5th in turnover margin.
As good as Iowa offense has been scoring wise, Purdue is arguably better as they come into this game ranked 2nd in scoring offense (92.4 ppg), 2nd in FG% (54.5%), & 1st in 3P-FG% (44.2%). Purdue has been able to put up great scoring totals against solid team and was extremely impressive against Florida State at home this past Tuesday, putting up 93 points.
Over is 8-1 in the Hawkeyes last 9 games overall & 5-1 in the Hawkeyes last 6 games following a ATS win. Over is 7-0 in the Boilermakers last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 & 4-0 in the Boilermakers last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
This is going to be a fun game to watch as both teams are going to run and score a lot of points and after seeing both offenses have such success offensive in their recent matchups, I see this one easily going over 160 and hitting this Over. Good Luck!
